At Mumtraq Regional Impact, we deliver culturally rooted programs in education, workforce development, housing, health, and culture-working hand in hand with our community, regional partners, and our ancesteral values to create lasting change.

Our Mission: To empower tribal members and strengthen our community by building meaningful pathways in education and employment, preserving our Yup'ik heritage, and supporting sustainable groth for present and future generations.

501(c)(3) Nonprofit Status


Mumtraq Regional Impact serves as the official 501(c)(3) nonprofit arm of the Native Village of Goodnews Bay. This designation enables us to receive federal, regional, and philanthropic funding that supports programs in housing, wellness, culture, and education.

Recognized for Impact


Through strategic partnerships and grant programs, Mumtraq Regional Impact advances sustainable housing, cultural revitalization, education, and wellness initiatives that empower the people of Goodnews Bay.

  Grant Partners Include: Denali Commission, HUD, BIA, and AHFC.

Our Impact So Far: Safe homes repaired and families supported, local jobs created through tribal contracts, cultural programs reconnecting youth and elders and training opportunities expanding tribal capacity.
